Direction Fire Limited are approved designers and installers with proven experience engineering Baldwin Boxall EVC systems for a range of typical and specific applications to meet customer risk requirements.

Our extensive knowledge and engineering capability with the product has earned Direction Fire Limited the coveted Gold status supplier award from Baldwin Boxall.

Typical projects have between 16 and 64 field devices installed but we have successfully installed many larger, major projects requiring more advanced engineering solutions.

The range offers a choice of touch screen user display and control packages and also includes options for emergency and steward’s handsets suitable for sporting and other public venues. The EVC systems provided meet the requirements of BS9999:2008, BS5839-9 2011 and BS8300:2009 for disabled WC alarms.

Please note that for systems utilised for ‘fire fighting’ that 2 hour fire rated enhanced four-core cable should be utilised in accordance with BS5839-9:2011.

Projects

Residential development in Battersea, comprised 14 Networked Vigil Omnicare panels displaying some 170 outstations on 2 x 96 zone panels sited within the fire command centre. The panels were built within a bespoke rack arrangement with an Advanced Electronics fire alarm system. The system comprised of fire telephones above ground and disabled refuge points within the basement car park levels. Disabled WC and shower alarms were also incorporated onto the system.
